Weather check: autumnal
Not that summer ever made an appearance in Paris (okay, there was that week in early July...), but autumn most definitely arrived while I was in New York. The air is different; crisper, brighter—like an October afternoon. There are plenty of people who relish the prospects of cozying up in leather jackets and wool scarves. I am not one of them. Give me the 96 degrees in Manhattan any day.

Ah, a woman after my own heart. I do admit to enjoying a nice crisp fall day now and again, but not as a steady diet, and certainly not in their guise as harbinger of cold, damp, dark winter days.
ReplyDeleteI happen to love Autumn, it is Winter that depresses me. But the Summer heat ,where I live ,goes on so long, Fall is very welcome.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you will have a sudden hot snap :)
