Back in business

It was an off-rhythm week: jetlag, head cold and beaucoup de travail. But it was fun, too. Pizza parties, birthday celebrations, outdoor concerts, Velib rides and unexpected out-of-towners. And with Alain's Cornet Vegetarien, eaten in the park, under the sunshine, I knew I was back in Paris.

  1. A list of ingredients will be nice so I can copy it here in the land of not- the- best -vegetarian -food-in- the- world .

  3. Candice, dig this: fresh greens, grated carrots, grated fennel, marinated onions, thinly sliced avocado, beaucoup olive oil, chives and diced parsley, sea salt, lemon juice and lime zest, chevre and honey. It’s a crazy combination that = heaven. (The original recipe also calls for mushrooms, but I skip ‘em; not a mushroom girl!)

sixweeks, you're going to love it. If the hours are off or if you don't feel like waiting in line (there is often one) nearby, Tartes Kluger, Cococooks, Rose Bakery and Merce and the Muse all have divine food!
