You have to start ‘em early

Four days in Paris is enough to start molding my adorable niece and nephew into cool little Parisians, non? (They’ve already got the British accents—why not??)

They lounged in the chairs at the Tuileries...

…listened to new music at Colette...

…and were rightfully smitten with the Velibs.

They gobbled up the best viennoiseries in the city—pain aux raisins from Stohrer, of course.

They kicked back at chic restaurants…

(on a bed, at Derriere, no less)…

…sprinted around Daniel Buren’s installation at the Palais Royal…

… and explored new, green pastures.

They were good metro riders…

… and good little thinkers.

Next visit, scarf-tying, terrace surfing and gesticulating will be on the agenda.

  1. They're adorable, and it looks like you had a fantastic day!! Your photos are very good as well.

  2. What a marvelous adventure!! :-) Love seeing all these places again. :-)

  3. Um...how lucky are they?! Beautiful pics Amy- it's so nice to see your family.

  4. It looks like you had a glorious day. But how lucky are you to get that second to last shot on the metro! That's a framer right there.

  5. Merci, mes amies. They really are adorable, and it really was a great visit, and I really am quite proud. Thanks for indulging me. :)

  6. Cousin Amy! I can't believe it's been a year to date that we were in Paris visiting you, then your beautiful brother and family in London!! We miss you and can't wait to see you again soon!!! ~Jeffrey
