French word of the day: grignoter
Def: To nibble or eat away
This is me to a T lately. Insatiable. On a tear. Eating anything and everything and needing to do what I can to avoid grossir (putting on weight) and getting grosse (big) and grasse (fat).
To nibble in Castellano is mordisquear ( mor dee skar) .. which just does not have the poetry that grignoter has ... imo. But then if you enjoy too much mordisquear, you will become engorde or grasa or gordo ... Gordo sounds just like what it is :)
But this is something that we need not worry about .. no no no .. a leaf here, a petal there, that is all we eat. besos
