French word of the day: dénégation
Def: denial
The state I've apparently been in, only now getting around to packing two years' worth of shoes, clothes and household stuff for the movers who come at 8:30 tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow morning. It is almost here. I totally understand the packing thing. Love the word. It is now one of mine... a good one for me, denial is a state I find myself in .. often.
lol. Mandy, Milo comes with me on Friday... god help us both!
The movers came this morning and removed 12 boxes... a good chunk of my life. I hope it surfaces in NYC before too long (oui, Helen, moving back to NYC)!
Oh, so sad. This brings me right back to my final moments in Paris. Only I had months of shoes and clothes to pack, instead of years. Same feeling though. Je t'aime Paris.
