In fact, yesterday was a Vegan Sunday. Because the peanut butter bomb cupcake from my new favorite bakery in New York is vegan. Lucky me.
Morning
Yoga (ahhh)
Coffee & soy milk
Oatmeal
Afternoon
Black bean burrito, sans rice & cheese
Banana
Evening
Cliff Bar
Glass of Shiraz
Mixed nuts
And Steve Martin banjo and bluegrass
Hello Amy, I’m so jealous you saw Steve Martin at the Highline last night! Tried to get tickets for his show at Joe’s Pub (next 3 nights) but they sold out so fast! Guess I’ll have to wait until he comes to my hometown of Philadelphia. I’ve been enjoying your blog for the last few months as I try to absorb all things Parisian until my wife and I are able to vacation there again. She started her lifelong Francophile devotion when she studied in Strasbourg while we were undergrads. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Kevin, thanks for the note - I'm happy to know you've been enjoying the blog and I hope you and your wife get over to Paris soon! (And Steve Martin was great.) :)
ReplyDeleteSachalouise, I know, I know, not one of my healthier Vegan Mondays. But I've actually been eating very well lately: lots of veggies, on Sunday, yesterday and today (grace à the Whole Foods salad bar - can't beat it)!
Candice, you of all people know that sometimes culture and giddy feelings are all the nourishment you need. xo
