Art in the streets of Paris

I made it to the Musée Marmottan in Paris. But since the lines at the d’Orsay were too long for my impatient self, and the two times I tried to go to Musée de la Chase et de la Nature it was closed, I had to make do with the city’s street art. Which, this time, seemed a bit more poetic…

More large scale…

As silly as ever…

And sweet.

But, à la fin de la journée, classic Parisian street art.

  1. There's a rotating space of street art on my street. A little fountain like space that just seems to attract all the graffiti artists around and keeps being repainted by the city. One day I will start a blog just to display all the changes! ;-)

  2. There is a new iPhone application that just came out for Parisian Street Art.

It's really cool, if you're into it, you should check it out! My guy friends here are obsessed with it!

  3. I have a photo of the reaching person; it just fascinated me. I live in Philadelphia, which has over 200 murals on building walls throughout the city. They are, for the most part, very well done and attractive, but they don't have quite the effect on me as the Parisian art does. Perhaps because it is sanctioned?

I have my own favorite but I'm not sure I can send it to you.
