Day four. No sugar. No chocolate, no dried fruit, no pastries.
I had to do it. If I were to itemize all of the sweets I ate in Nantes (not to mention the chocolate the night before), you would be appalled. I was appalled. That’s why I put myself on the detox.
On Sunday, I allowed myself a half a slice of pain epices (What?? It was a regional specialty). Since then, I’ve been snacking only on fruit, yogurt and almonds. That’s four days, more or less, without any sweets. Four loooong days. I’m curious to see if I feel better and better each day I can make it—clearer head, more energy… I’m also curious to see if my stomach gets flatter.
