Too soon for foliage
For weeks now, I’ve been reminded of autumn’s inevitable approach. So depressing. Barely into August, and already the leaves of some of Paris’ trees are turning orange. Now they’re beginning to fall. And when you bike along Avenue Gabriel, as I do each morning to work, it even smells like fall.
