Vet visits. Doctor visits. Client presentations. Insomnia. Traffic. Rain. There wasn’t a lot to love about last week. But Friday night, taking off on an airplane for a special weekend, and then having a little time and space to count all the things you’re lucky for, and enjoying a weekend outside of the norm with lovely people… everything is good again.
Apple cider… rain showers... new hardback books… a matinee… a great phone
call… what did the week bring you?
No cider or flights... But no traffic or vets, so I guess it balances out! Just lots of crummy retail work and wondering where my Southern Hemispheical spring is. Johannesburg, probably.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue October skies, warm days, cool nights and lots of pumpkin. Warm pumpkin bread with apple cider, glazed pumpkin almonds, iced pumpkin pretzels, warm spicy pumpkin pie with cold homemade whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg. YUM! That was my week.

ReplyDeleteWe are having high winds and rain and it is cold , not such a beautiful Spring day but I keep thinking of packing and flying back to NY and I get through it :)
