Two Days in New York

I adored Two Days in Paris. Julie Delphy and Adam Goldberg had that brilliantly believable love 'em but annoying chemistry. Naturalment, it was wonderful wandering the streets of Paris with them, and Julie's actual parents, who played her parents in the movie, stole the show.

I've been anxiously awaiting Two Days in New York. But... this trailer inspires a few doubts for me.

What do you think? Is the new addition going be fantastique?

  1. The movie is pretty much what the trailer shows. It was just ok. I admire Julie Delphy for creating and directing movies, sort of a French, female Woody Allen.

  2. Iit is a nice movie to watch, especially because I love Julie Delpy and her father. However, I prefered 2 Days in Paris. I thought the chemistry between Marion and Jack was better than the one between Marion and Mingus. Also, I didn't like the last part with the whole soul-selling business.

  3. It's not a masterpiece, but I found it quirky, funny and offbeat, like Linda says above, Woody Allen-esque. I'm a cheap date, though ;)

  5. i'm a HUGE fan of 2 Days in Paris and I found this film to be a huge let down. Forced banter, weak jokes... the shtick was tired from the start. Did you end up seeing it??
