Bonjour Tristesse
Who doesn't love a good, kitschy "French" film?
Made in 1958, this gem has it all. Paris and the Riviera. Vixens and playboys. Dior and Hermés. It's the perfect mood lifter for these damp, grey days of spring.
THANK YOU! THIS IS PERFECT....
ReplyDeleteCompletely campy, and it has David Niven! (I always loved Jean Seberg's waif-like beauty, too.)
ReplyDeleteBonjour Tristesse was the first French book I ever read. Must make a point to see the film one of these days!
